I particularly enjoyed exploring the nearby landmarks like Hagia Sophia, just a 25-minute walk away, and the lovely gardens of Gulhane Park, only about 1 km from the hotel, which made my weekend strolls truly memorable, while the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

For a wonderful breakfast, request a table near the window for a pleasant view. The variety was impressive, catering to diverse tastes.

I had a delightful stay at Sogut Hotel Old City. The staff, especially Etem and Ali, were exceptionally kind and provided fantastic recommendations for exploring Istanbul. The hotel's location was perfect, close to transportation and safe to walk around at night.

The only downside was a minor issue with some noise from the nearby street, which occasionally interrupted my sleep during the night.

The Standard Double Room was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated. The bed was comfy, perfect for a good night's sleep. I liked that it had enough room for my luggage too. Plus, the good natural light made working there easy. No complaints about the cleanliness either—everything was kept tidy. Only downside? The room was a bit small for a couple of big bags. But overall, it was a nice spot to relax.

The hotel was super convenient for catching ferries from Karaköy and Eminönü, making it easy to visit the Anatolian side and go on Bosphorus tours.
